Here is my kitchen after Mike did all the demo. My house has never been so dirty as after the granite was put in! It took me several days and lots of hard work to get everything clean again....but hey, it was well worth it in my book!
Mike and I are so happy with the results. The granite is beautiful and just makes the kitchen feel so nice. Plus....no more white grout and tile to try and keep clean!

Just Like Daddy
I was putting clothes away the other day and Camden was in my closet with me. He saw Mike's uniforms and told me, "When I get bigger Daddy can share his costumes with me." I asked him, "Oh, so you want to be a police officer when you grow up?" He thought a moment and then said, "Oh yeah, when I grow up I am going to be a missionary." I laughed and tried to explain that that was only a two year thing and that he would also have to think about what he wanted to be when he was older. So far though, he wants to be just like his Daddy!

Ice Cream = Smiles!
I decided to give the kids a scoop of ice cream while I washed the car. It was so cute because they all just sat in the drive way, side by side, completely enjoying their treat!
Long Time...No Post!
I know that I haven't posted in a while....Last week I was in Arizona and this week has just flown by! Now, I finally have a chance to post. Just in case anyone was wondering!

Another Hot Day
Camden got a little creative and made his own water slide.
Pizza Party
Camden and Carissa finished their soccer season and had a pizza party and award ceremony. They were really excited about being able to play with the other kids instead of having to focus completely on playing soccer!

Bad Day for a Picnic!
I babysit my friends' two little girls on Mondays. I promised all the kids last time I saw them that we could go to the park and have a picnic. Well, of course, it turned out to be really cold and cloudy. The kids still had lots of fun playing (they seem to be able to stand the cold and hot weather better than adults). We set up a blanket, got the food out, and then it started to sprinkle on us! The kids ate amazingly fast and we got back in the car and turned the heater on! It was a good day but a little to cold and wet for a picnic!

For My Mom
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
My mom is my hero. She always has been and will be throughout eternity. I may not have been blessed with a sister to grow up with but I was blessed with a mother who was able to fill the role of mother, sister, and friend. She has stood by me through thick and thin. She is there when I need to cry and there when I need to laugh. She is an amazing woman of faith. It is by her testimony of the church that I was able to come unto Christ as an adult. Her strength is unwaivering and I love that about her. Now that I am a mother, I am able to look back and see how she did things and this helps me with my own kids. She laughs at all the times I have come to her and said, "Now I understand." My bond with my mom is one that cannot be expressed with words but I am ever so grateful to have her in my life.
I love you, Mom!
My Little Piano Player
I don't know if it is the noise or the joy in playing that draws Addison to the piano, but every chance she gets, she climbs up and starts pressing the keys. It is pretty cute seeing her turn the music pages as if she knows what they are for!

Noodles
We went to the mall today and I let the kids pick something they wanted for lunch. This made Carissa very happy because she instantly knew she wanted noodles. This made me laugh because I know she would eat noodles for every meal, everyday if I would let her. When I got home, I remember taking these pictures a few weeks ago so I thought I would post them.
My little noodle girl!
